The second piece (that I talked about yesterday) was this from a total legend. Zig Ziglar (@TheZigZiglar) has had tons of influence on millions and millions of people. He shared these valuable and timeless lessons: “Skills, knowledge, character, faith, and discipline continue producing value long after material rewards fade. Every lesson you learn and every strong habit you build expands what you are capable of contributing. Investing in yourself is not only about achieving more. It is about becoming more valuable to the people you are called to serve.” The post goes on to remind us about this pure gold thought by sharing this quote: “The greatest investment you will ever make is in the person you are becoming.” It is becoming more and more apparent to me that if I keep striving to be my best - in all areas of my life (knowing that some days I will fall short & to give myself some grace and keep going), those that I love and care for (and total strangers) will have an easier life because of the choices I made.
